Fire and Security Engineers Required.

We are looking for engineers who will be based in Surrey, the South East or London areas.
Positions include use of a company vehicle, so a full driving license is required.

Technical Security & Fire Systems Surveyor/Salesperson:
We are seeking a versatile, presentable, knowledgeable technical salesperson for our busy Surrey/London area living within approximately 60 minutes of the postcode KT20.
The successful candidate will work from our Surrey office. They will be mobile and will have the ability to work from home as required.
The role will predominantly be surveying properties for either new or upgrading existing security and fire systems.
There will be a sales responsibility and target. Roughly 40% of the role activity will be to develop new business with 60% of the role responding to the needs of existing customers where the likelihood of a successful ‘sale’ is high.
We require an individual who can put a high quality proposal and quotation together.
The successful candidate will ensure that the proposals being put together are technically sound, are correct and coherent, and will work as the customer requires.
It is equally important that the equipment being proposed will also work with other systems that might already be in place.
Often the role will require liaison with either the client and their advisors, or a combination of architects, interior designers, insurance company/broker, residential security teams and other members of the clients’ professional team.
The successful candidate should have good and up to date technical knowledge of the latest security and fire equipment. It is essential to have a good understanding of the installation process.
Examples of some of the systems Total Security Systems currently deploy are: Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Advanced Technology, C-Tech, Sony, Axis, Samsung and Panasonic and other equally high end security equipment.
Applicants must be a good ‘people person’, have excellent customer service skills, be a good communicator with a strong work ethic and willingness to succeed.
The successful candidate must be a team player and have flexibility, patience, loyalty, resilience, empathy and be resourceful in the execution of their work.
The salary expectation will be in line with the industry role and area, and is negotiable. The benefits for the successful person will be dependent upon experience.
